Chibi - Eat Your Kimchi

Not a commission this time guys~

Eat Your Kimchi, SUPER awesome group from Korea that educates the internet about Korean culture 50% of the time and the other 50% involves vlogging random shenanigans, trips around the world, and their pets is having their Meet Your Kimchi Canada|USA tour going on. They were in SF over the weekend and I wanted to give them stuffs.

I'm telling you, seeing them in person and seeing how down to earth and fun they are was amazing. It was worth taking the day off just for them.

This one actually made me nervous. The commissioner wanted me to do the commission on their ORIGINAL comic book. I was trying very VERY hard to be careful with their comic book so I wouldn't wear and tear it. I'm also glad that the COPICs didn't bleed through the cover. I put a cover underneath to prevent it bleeding through the next page, but I'm glad that the back cover is fine. 

Luckily afterwards they gave me something more simple to draw, but I like drawing fanarts in real-world elements. They wanted me to draw the character in Japan's national soccer/football team so that was fun getting the refs for.

Past and present commissions from one person. Dude was crazy though. The first one was from last year and then he came back and ordered 3 more from me. At the same time. It was fun to draw them, but it made me realize I need to practice more with armor and mecha/industrial elements.

It was really nice to see how excited they were for their commissions, even though I barely started on either of theirs before the con was over.

But seriously, I feel very touched that they liked my work that much. Thank you guys, I've honestly never had that happen to me before and to get that kind of reception from what I love doing is very heartwarming.

So when I went to AOD Artist Alley, yeah I was AOD but completely unprepared so much that I forgot to post it online *shot*

Anyways I encountered a lot of great people there, and just as many great commissioners. Usually I get a lot of great comments and returning commissioners after ordering from me once, but these two in particular pretty much instantly commissioned me and then came back to commission me a second time even before the 1st day was over. This is one of them.

As much as I loved drawing Korra's long hair, I love how she looks with short hair. Don't ask me which I like more though, you would be waiting weeks before I could come up with an answer I wouldn't regret.

Overall, I'm still a day behind, but not too bad compared to last year. Unfortunately, there's supposedly a HUGE storm that's supposed to hit tonight or tomorrow morning. They say it's the biggest one they've seen in years and that we're gonna get blacked out because of it so we'll see how this goes. In the meanwhile I'm gonna keep on drawing and hopefully post them soon as I can.

Finally off the MMO series and onto some of my favorites. Mako's hair was seriously the hardest to do. I couldn't decide between auburn or the rosy tint she had back at the beginning of the manga so I kinda went with...both? *fails*

I had a debate on whether to make Asuna a Knight or a Priest class, in other words go KnightsoftheBloodOath!Asuna or ALOBerserkerHealer!Asuna. I could have gone the KotBO route like I did 2 years ago, but since season 2 was out this year and because of the feels from the 2nd half of season 2.... ༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ

Yeah we kinda see which one won in the end.

If you have any idea what I'm talking about, especially you LN readers, you know I'm also anticipating next weeks episode just as much as you guys and I'm probably gonna spend the rest of this month curled up into a ball.

If you don't and are a SAO fan, go read the light novel, ESPECIALLY the Mother's Rosario Arc. SOOOOO many feels, pulls at your heartstrings, well it did for me.

I just realized that SAO II ends around the end of this year. Rudolph and Old Saint Nick anyone? *shot*

My Bashful Suzaku and Hardy Sho.

So I ended up becoming a Korrine cause I didn't realize that you get one of her Lucarios after you fight her in the Tower of Mastery aka Sho. But I just couldn't give up my Suzaku after catching and raising him as a Riolu WAAAYYY early on in my game so.... yeah.

My two awesome bros that I usually end up pairing together all the time. The only other one who I pair up with Suzaku is my Absol named Lelouch hehe no surprise

...wish they added glasses as an accessory option. I really want glasses....
