Doodle

Didn't realize I haven't uploaded anything for half a year. *fails*

Ended up browsing through some of my old sketches and files and found this lil' thing lying around. I really liked it and just wanted to see it in color.

I'll probably randomly doodle as always until I find something to post that doesn't make me cringe.

Lolis

 

Did for Salon de Luce's Japanese Cultural Event in Oakland, CA. It will be on display with a couple more of my pieces until March.

Preliminary design and color scheme. I give credit to my sister for helping with the lolita design. I love lolita and all, but it helped tons since she's actually a lolita now and owns several pieces to use for inspiration. Smacked my hands when I came up with stuff that wasn't part of the lolita style.

More Alchemy

Decided to pull out some character sheets of my main three characters for my manga.

 

My main girl, Ariane, an alchemist. She's the main protagonist.

My main guy, Elkin, a machinist.

I decided to do make alchemy and machine the equivalent to magic vs. science, so the professions of the main two contrast each other.

Last is Lealia, a chimera and Ariane's loyal and trusted companion. Once a pure panther, but due to a fatal accident, Ariane performs alchemy to save her life. In result, she has avian blood in her causing her to grow feathers and wings.

 She's not colored in due to the fact that I still haven't found a decent color scheme for her. She will compliment Ariane but since she also has a human form, which hasn't been drawn out yet, I have to make sure the colors work with her human form as well.

I'll probably post the sample pencils I did for a random chapter for this series later.
